An example of a domestic move is transporting a boat from Florida to New England. This simply can not be done the same way we can ship a boat to Europe. Trucking or piloting the boat are your only choices. This is also true for transporting boats from the U.S. East Coast to the U.S. West Coast. Transport by ocean is possible, but can be expensive and the voyages are infrequent. If the boat is a size that can be transported overland, trucking is the best bet in the majority of cases.
